POD of ECWA TREE PLANTING CAMPAIGN
Within the period under review, POD was also involved in tree planting campaign in its partner communities as deforestation and desertification is lurking our nation. The organisation decided to carry out tree Planting in the rural communities to educate and enlighten the people on the importance of balancing the eco system and preserving vegetation around the communities.
In all her communities within the course of the year 2020 POD of ECWA undertook tree planting campaigns at various stages. The pictures below is a cross section of various successful campaigns done and as an on going process in encouraging re-forestation, achieving the global millennium development goals
