In line with POD of ECWA 10th Project phase 3 key project objectives, the socoi economic empowerment of poor and under privilege members in the rural communities of our project in Bauchi state were not left behind. POD’s CDF Shehu Musa who works in 5 communities in Toro Local Government of Bauchi state was able to locate the following five beneficiaries of goat rearing as a livelihood venture towards raising their living standard. Goat rearing as little or negligible as it may seems can be of great economic value which can be a source of livelihood for the widows and orphans identified. The beneficiaries are really in daring need of means of survival and this initiative by POD will go a Long way to lift their status and value in the community. It is POD’s desire to ensure that the widows, orphans and the most less privileged in our project communities are all impacted with our activities and empowerment program.
